Trading Trust for Greed.

One of the issues among most people today is the unsatisfactory desire for worldly pleasures. We want to live flashy, have the best of things, show off wealth, bling-blings, cars, clothes, etc - these many desires have misled so many true minded and focused individuals to trade their integrity for the lust of the flesh.

Elisha (as the Holy Book describes) was a dedicated and respected prophet of the most high God. For anyone to be chosen as His servant is a role that commands huge respect as well. Elisha never lacked - because God always supply all his needs accordingly, therefore his servants were well taken care of and lived happily with their families.

The evil one has tricks that he uses to deprive Gods people from enjoying the blessings from Heaven - he flashes us with things we can hardly resist, things that will bring out the greed in us; things that would make us lie; that would make us do the unimaginable - just to satisfy that greedy urge for materialism.

Mind you, the things that we do to satisfy those greedy satanic urge - we think God does not see? For every deed, there is a reward. Honestly its not easy, but with Gods grace, we can stand strong to resist the greedy urges. I pray that the Almighty God continue to open our eyes to the truth of His word, that our hearts will seek to do the needful at all times. No one is perfect - not even one.
